• Order information: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and the items you purchased.
• Payment information: collected and processed by Stripe. We receive only a confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits and card brand.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
• Email sign-ups: your email address, if you choose to join our list.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs needed to keep the site running and secure.

We do not store card numbers. Checkout is hosted by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems.

• To process, ship, and support your order (including tracking emails).
• To calculate applicable sales tax and comply with tax and business records rules.
• To answer your questions and handle returns or replacements.
• To send occasional updates, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.

Only the service providers that make the order possible: Stripe (payments and tax calculation), USPS / Stamps.com (shipping and tracking), our email delivery provider, and our website hosting and database provider. Each receives only what it needs. We may also disclose information when required by law.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Order records are kept as long as needed for warranty, accounting, and tax purposes (generally at least four years). Marketing email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Email info@samthefungi.com to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of marketing email. We honor these requests, including rights available to residents of Texas, California, and other states with applicable privacy laws.

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to remember your cart and keep the site working. Stripe sets its own cookies on the hosted checkout page for fraud prevention.

Our site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we update this policy we will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
